One Time Clay Class for KIDS and their family**

Fridays, $35

4-5:30 pm

6-7:30 pm

Ages 5 and older

WHEEL: Your instructor will walk the class through the steps of throwing on the wheel to create one vessel such as a bowl, cup, or dish. We will then add a glaze of one color to the piece. This will be a beautiful piece of art and food safe. If your kid has done this or a similar class before, they can sign up for multiple classes to learn and expand their skills!

HANDBUILDING: Your instructor will walk the class through the steps of handbuilding a vessel such as a pot, bowl, or cup. We will use fundamental techniques perfect for beginners, but that can be scaled up for students who have previous experience with clay. After creating your vessel, we will spend part of the class time painting our pieces.

Your work will be kiln fired and ready in 4-6 weeks for pick up. Instructor will text you when pieces are ready for pick up.

**Adults can sign up for this class also and create along with their child. Please sign up for a spot for each creating person. Parents do not have to sit next to their child if they are not signing up to create also. Adults can of course stay and watch but students will be working independently to learn this skill.

Registration closes the day prior to the event. Please register well in advance as this class sells out quickly. We cannot do last minute sign ups due to instructor needing time to prepare materials for the event.

Instruction will begin promptly at listed time.

Studio doors will open at 15 minutes before start time.

There is a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 people for this event.

If the minimum is not met the class will be canceled or combined with another. You will be called to discuss. If you want to have this event with more than 6 people, please call to discuss a time to reserve this event.

Street parking is limited. Please take note of illustrated parking map herefor your reference.

*Instructor will notify you by text with the number you provide, when your bowl is ready for pick up. You will need to pick up your piece within 4 months of your class. After 4 months your piece will become part of a permanent mosaic art project! Feel free to call 904-704-2365 to coordinate pick up.
