SPRING 2025 Dates:

Spring Session 1 (Wednesdays): January 15, 22, 29, February 5, 12, 19, 26, March 5. (If the instructor has to cancel a class due to sickness or weather during this session, the Makeup Date will be March 12)

No Class during Spring Break: March 17-21

Spring Session 2 (Wednesdays): March 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7. (If the instructor has to cancel a class due to sickness or weather during this session, the Makeup Date will be May 14)

About this class:

This is a 8 to 16 week “general” art class for students with a LOVE of art. During each session the class will explore projects and ideas to grow your student's artistic skills and imaginations. The projects will also allow them to work with many different mediums including, acrylics, watercolor, oil pastels, soft pastels, fiber, collage, sculpture, printmaking, and more! We are a process based art studio. We promote the enjoyment of the creative process without the stress of the end result. Sometimes we end up with a frame worthy piece of art, but other times the students will learn new skills that they will keep enjoying throughout their life!

We try to keep projects fresh and different than the semesters before. This way your student can take classes with us for years and always be learning and trying new techniques. Sometimes we do repeat the favorite projects but always try to have a new twist and expand their skills and imagination!

Class will begin promptly at time listed. You may arrive 15 minutes early for free draw/social time. The instructor waits for all students to arrive before beginning instruction. Please text us through the remind app if your student will not be in class so we don’t wait for them. The beginning of class instruction time is the most important part of what you are paying for! Please do not come to class if you will be late, as this reduces the work time for the whole class.

PLEASE MARK ALL DAYS (that you register for) ON YOUR CALENDAR AND SET AN ALERT BEFORE STARTING CLASSES.

Please sign up for the remind app when you sign up for the class. If class is canceled for whatever reason, this is how you will find out. We do not want anyone being inconvenienced if you do not get the message. Thank you!

(For 16 and up we recommend the Monday night Teen -Drawing or the Thursday night Clay class. For under 6 we recommend the Kinder or Toddler class on Mondays)

If you love one-time classes please join us on FRIDAYS: for "Walk-in & Create" (2-3:30pm or 4-5:30pm)

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:

Minimum of 4 students per class. Max of 10 students per class. A week before classes begin, if the minimum has not been met we will have to cancel the class. Please sign up in advance to guarantee your spot in the class or to make sure we have the class you want for your artist. Please share with your friends through email and social media!

IF the instructor has to cancel class for emergency reasons (personal or environmental) and we cannot find a replacement teacher, we will contact you as soon as possible through the Remind App.

If you have to miss a class for any reason, we do not have a makeup class or refund for this. Signing up for 8 weeks ensures your spot in the session. We prepare for all students each week. Thank you for understanding.
